Our Heritage
Our story begins in the mid-60’s, when the late grandfather Lambros starts to operate in the field of building materials distribution. In 1972 he acquires a brand new VOLVO truck and with it he serves the entire peninsula of Kassandra.
In 1988 a new era begins with the participation of his sons Kostas and Dimitris. Lambrou Ltd. takes the form it has today. The two brothers with hard work and vision give the company a new dynamic.
In the 1990s, the rapid reconstruction in Kassandra leads the brothers to expand, apart from the transport of building materials, into trade and earthworks, sectors in which they are still active today. Their primary goal is to make construction easier than ever by offering a range of expanded products and services. Focused on service, they quickly develop cooperative relationships with their customers to whom they offer reliable products at competitive prices, sharply increasing their turnover, making the company the first in cement sales in Halkidiki and the third in Northern Greece.
In its more than 30 years of operation, Lambrou S.A., apart from the transport services that it carries out with its own fleet, the trade of building materials and earthworks, operates a technical department store, a steel reinforcement processing plant, a waste recycling unit, a bazaar bucket rental, a hotel equipment and catering store, a petrol station, tourist businesses, etc.
Today, Lambrou Ltd. is staffed with competent people, with vision and belief in the values of the company while “the third generation” completing their academic obligations is preparing, with the guidance of our founders, to continue and develop the successful course of the company in today’s challenges.
